Texas Cotton Ginners' Association

The Texas Cotton Ginners' Association 's purpose and goal stems from it's beginnings in 1897.  The creators believed that a statewide Association could generate a favorable response from the state legislature.  They also hoped to find, through collective discussions, solutions to their mutual problems.  This purpose and hope continues today in the Association.  Problems facing both the ginning and cotton industries are addressed and solutions are derived through collective discussions.  The TCGA staff and it's leadership develop and then pursue common goals and strategies.  Through this process, the needs of the industry are addressed effectively.
