Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association (TCGA) is pleased to announce that Duncan McCook will be joining the TCGA team on January 1st. In his new role as Manager of Regulatory Affairs, Duncan will be working with Kelley to serve TCGA membership with regulatory compliance. Duncan will add a lot of depth to our team in terms of regulatory knowledge and experience in the ginning industry.

Duncan graduated from Texas A&M with degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Systems Management. Upon graduation, Duncan joined Anderson Clayton Corporation in California, where he worked as a Field Engineer for the ginning department. Duties included working with utility companies on rates, air pollution equipment and facility design, safety program development, and air permitting. He later became Manager of Technical Services for the CA and AZ Ginning Divisions.

After Anderson Clayton, Duncan went to work for Consolidated Cotton Gin Co. as a Project Engineer and then briefly for Texas Cotton Ginners’ Association in Lubbock. In 2003, Duncan joined Lummus Corporation as Manager of Applications Engineering. Later he was moved into Manufacturing where he became General Manager of Lubbock Manufacturing and oversaw the development and construction of the new Lubbock manufacturing facility. In 2016 he was made Vice President of Manufacturing where he currently serves.

Duncan and his wife Linda will be relocating to Austin from Savannah, Georgia. They have two children. Braeden graduated from Texas A&M in May of 2019 and is working in the Dallas area and Kendall is a freshman at Georgia College and State University.
