As I am certain you are aware, TCGA’s annual cotton trade show was cancelled again this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center is closed to outside events through the end of April, prohibiting our event. However, we are planning a membership meeting for April 8 at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center in Lubbock.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a board of directors’ business meeting. For those of you who cannot attend the meeting, TCGA is planning to make the meeting available via Zoom. The business meeting should conclude by 11:00 a.m. A membership meeting with guest speakers will be held from 11: a.m. to noon, and then an awards luncheon will be held for those in attendance. During the awards luncheon, we will honor the 2019 and 2020 Ginner of the Year recipients along with Life Member Award recipients. The event is designed to recognize a few for their distinct service to the industry.
The Texas Cotton Ginners’ Trust is planning to conduct their annual meeting at the conclusion of the awards luncheon.
